Determining correct age for upcoming season

Players participating in the 2025 AAU basketball season will be playing in the age group (or under) for their age as of August 30, 2025.

Example 1: If John is currently 12 years old and has a birthday on April 1st, he will play for 13U, as he will be age 13 on 8/30/25.

Example 2: If Mary is currently age 8 with a birthday on December 15th, she will play for 9U, as she will be age 9 on 8/30/25.
